Public Policy and Nuclear Threats is a multi-disciplinary summer training program and winter workshop for graduate students and professionals on the science of nuclear threats, nonproliferation strategies, strategic doctrine, and emerging nuclear threats from new nuclear states and terrorists, which began in 2003 as a NSF Integrated Graduate Education Research and Training (IGERT) program. Since then, PPNT has prepared 141 graduate students and policy professionals for nuclear security leadership in the policy and research worlds.
